A wedding is a whirlwind of events, go in the blink of an eye. There’s nothing more important to a perfectly executed event than an organized timeline. If you are looking to plan out your wedding day with your wedding coordinator or fiancé, here’s a look at a typical wedding photo timeline from our point of view. We are here to help assist you in planning out your day so that you don’t miss a beat.
1. Set Your Budget First:
Make sure you know exactly how much you want to spend on your gown. It’s best to not try on anything you are not comfortable paying for. Setting your budget allows your consultant to pull gowns that are not only stunning but also right in your price point and won’t break the bank.
2. Shop Early:
Allow yourself enough time to shop for a gown without the added pressure of worrying about ship dates or if your gown may need a rush. Alterations can also take up to six weeks. Best to relieve any stress and not play the waiting game.
3. Book Appointments:
It is the busy season for bridal shops. Weekends especially are a hectic time for consultants. Call ahead of time find out the availability for appointments and book your preferred time slot. Booking an appointment guarantees you will have a consultant ready to help you and make your wedding dress shopping an enjoyable experience.
4. Bring The Right People:
When shopping for something as important as your dress, bring the ones who truly know you best. The ones that will help you make the right decision. Smaller groups are usually easier to shop with, but if a larger group is more your style, make sure they know you are the decision-maker. It’s your dress after all.
5. Trust Your Instincts:
Not every bride has a “bridal moment”. Most brides know their dress as soon as they put it on, but want to continue trying on numerous gowns. Believe in your decision. You will most likely come back to that very first dress.
